Task 2- Styles of television advertising
Here is an advert about Vinnie Jones' hard and fast hands CPR. The advert is for the british hard foundation, they are advertising ways on how you can save a person going into cardiac arrest etc. I found this advert humours as well as surrealism. The reasons for this is the video is based on something that can happen in real life, and what this advert does is it shows you quick and simple ways in how you can save a life whilst waiting for the help. In addition to this I also found it humorous as it very catchy and funny, this is because of the song choice they chose to be used in the song as it is very upbeat, funny and easy to remember. The Style used in this advert is a realist narrative, this is as it is an incident that could happen in real life.
This advert is trying to convey to the audience a way in which they can help someone if they was to see anyone in a similar situation. By having the advert be very upbeat and catchy it would be long lasting for the audience which means it would be an easy process to help someone as the technique is very easy to remember.
