2nd purpose of interviews- fashion trends questions and answers

For my second interview package I will be looking at a fashion magazine as my next form for interviews. For a fashion magazine I will be interviewing  a fashion blogger about any trends for the upcoming summer time. I chose to use a magazine interview format for this article as I will be creating a section in a article where I will be providing questions and answers about summer trends from the blogger, this will give the viewers of the article the kind of trends that will be seen in the spring/summer time. I would like to include the article in the fashion magazine 'Vogue', which is a worldwide fashion magazine that is provided in different countries, the good thing about vogue magazine is they provide their articles and magazines in different languages which is an advantage as people around the world would have more of an understanding of what the article is about. In addition to this they also have the fashion magazine online which is easier for people to read on the go which is another advantage for the article. I believe my interview would fit well with the magazines context, as the magazine provides very informational articles on different topics as well as the tone of articles is suitable for the fashionable audience they are aiming at.

Before asking the questions, I did some research on how some question and answer article are and how what kind of questions are asked to make the article very professional as well as informative. Some of the questions I found that where effective was what the interviewee thought of the topic they was talking about, in my case I will be asking questions such as what people should be looking forward to for this summer trends as well as any items she would like to see for the summer time etc. This will give an understanding to the viewers on what kind of a blogger she is and what she focusses on.

Questions I will be asking in the interview
To start my interview I will asking a very broad but simple question, starting with trends it will get the conversation going to talk about the different trends which people should be looking forward to for this year summer collection.

"Looking at the spring/ summer collection for 2015 what have different designers experimented with for this season?"

I will then start to ask more questions on runway trends and what different styles the runway has to offer for the summer time, this will start of the conversation inn what the blogger would want to see in the summer trend and what different designers have to offer.

"What runway trends do we have for the spring/summer collection?"

Asking this question will give the audience an understanding on what to look forward to on the runway for the spring/summer collection from different designers, I feel like this question will allow her to tell the audience what will be the trends for the summer and it can also be a head start for people who want to prepare for summer.

"What can you say about some of the trends?"

I then start asking questions on some of the runway trends that will be seen this year, this question will then allow her to talk about a trend that might be very popular on the runway and in detail she will talk about what different designers will be creating with this trend and what kind of styles the trend has to offer.

"So over the past few years kimonos have become a huge trend for the summer collections, how have designers taken this trend and made it their own?"

From this question I start to challenge her knowledge on fashion, this will then get her to start talking about what she knows about different designers and how they will be taking a fashion piece and making it their own by incorporating their own style into the work.

"What do you have to say about the Mix&Match trend for the spring/summer collection?"

I then go back to asking a question on what she knows about another trend, this will be a good way for her to talk about another upcoming trend as she can inform the audience what else they have to look forward to ask another trend for the summer.

"So who is your fashion icon for this year's spring /summer?"

I then start asking a few personal questions, to get to know the blogger a bit more as well as have an understanding on what her sense of style is and who she likes as fashion and designers work. Asking a question like this allows he to give a broad answer on what she likes about the new trends, as the questions are in a magazine it will give the viewers more of an understanding on what kind of style she has.

"What can you tell me about accessories for the summer time?"

I then start asking a question which will broaden fashion by knowing what accessories people should be looking for the summer time, this is moving the topic from fashion to smaller things that can be worn for a more of a fashion statement.

"As you know summer is also festival season, what kind of festival looks are in this year"

Looking at this question I again start to question her knowledge on fashion and what she knows about festival season as it plays a big part in the summer time. This question then allows her to list the different looks and pieces people would wear for the festivals.

"Who is a fashion icon for festivals"

Again I ask a question which she will need to have done research on being a blogger, so she can provide the best answer possible to give the readers some inspiration on who they should look up to and focus on when it comes to fashion as well as festival fashion.

Here is an article from the vogue magazine, Looking at the different layout it has I wanted to re create the same layout for my own article as it will be a section from the vogue magazine.  From the screenshot you can see how they have focused on the images rather than text as vogue is more about making the visuals noticeable.
From the screenshot you can also see how vogue uses very small and simple font for their text, I wanted to take this and use it for my article to create a similar look to what vogue has as their look on magazines.

Here is a screenshot of the interview for vogue magazine. You can see how I have taken the layout and made it so the article  fits in well with the magazine.
