Constraints 
For the planning process of the corporate video, my partner and I gathered a range of ideas for the corporate video, one of the ideas was to follow 4 different students from different base schools that LaSWAP has to offer and follow the students to their everyday life in LaSWAP. As we had a strict time frame we had to follow, my partner and I new this would be hard to accomplish as we would not have enough time to film each of the students as well as shots of all the schools including interviews of staff and students. Another idea we could not accomplish was the idea of filming a student painting the logo of LaSWAP on a canvas. My partner and I wanted to include the student painting the logo in the corporate video by having shots of the painting spaced out throughout the video and have a final shot of the finished canvas which would of been the end of the video. We could not go about this idea as the student we wanted to use was not available the week we was filming which we found it as a problem as we could not film overtime or go over our filming schedule as we had no time. Even though we could not perform these ideas, my partner and I are satisfied with our idea for the finalised corporate video.

Strengths
Looking back at my corporate video I have many strengths which I am pleased with. A strength I came across when editing the final cut of my corporate video is the types of shots I provide in the video, having various shots of buildings, students work and students in the video show what LaSWAP has to offer to the upcoming students.Providing building shots in the video allows upcoming students to see what the buildings LaSWAP is made up off and where they will be studying by having an idea on what the buildings look like. In addition to this by showing students working in study areas provided, it shows upcoming students the working space each school has to offer. Another strength I found in my corporate video is allowing the students to associate a word which they think LaSWAP is. This shows the individuality of each student as they have their own opinion of LaSWAP. The last strength I found in my corporate video was the visuals of a student and building which I then did a voice over of the students voice over the visuals of the buildings. For this section of the video, it fit perfectly together with the visuals and the voice as it linked with what the student was saying as well as was in sync with the interview of the student.

Weaknesses
Looking at the weaknesses I came across in my video was the soundtrack I used for the corporate video. Throughout the corporate video the soundtrack does get quite jumpy whenever there is an interview in the video, from going to a loud soundtrack then to a low sound for the interviews would create a jump as it was not as smooth as it could of been. This problem was one of my feedback points I gathered from my client, I improved this problem as much as I could by smoothing the sound out as much as possible however when viewing my final cut for the clients I still found it jumpy. Another weakness I found after watching the final edit was not including enough information about LaSWAP, looking at my classmates corporate videos they included statistics in the videos to give the viewers a brief idea of some of LaSWAPS statistics on grades, this is so upcoming students are aware of what the learning system is like by looking at the grades students get. In addition to this I did not include the range of subjects LaSWAP has to offer, this has also been a fall back for my video as upcoming student will not be aware of this and would find it difficult to know what is provided at LaSWAP as subjects. Lastly another weakness I found in my corporate video was not proving visuals of teachers teaching lessons, by not showing how lessons are taught at LaSWAP, the students will not be aware on what to expect when coming to LaSWAP.

Strength and weaknesses compared to other Corporate videos
Comparing my corporate video to the original LaSWAP corporate video, there a few similarities. The aim of the original video was to create a positive feeling and encourage upcoming students to attend the sixth form. Looking at the video I was also creating a similar aim for my own video so it links with what they want for the corporate video for LaSWAP. Before creating my own corporate video, I analysed the original video to gain inspiration on how I could create my video. Seeing the diversity the original video has offered I wanted to create the same link, by doing this I used a range of students from different backgrounds and ethnicities to show the diverseness of LaSWAP. Also looking at other corporate videos such as the University of Manchester have a range of close up visuals of the university, this creates a quick and elegant look to the corporate video. In addition to this I have also used a similar idea to the Manchester corporate video by including the associated words into our corporate video to show what the students think of LaSWAP.

Researching a range of corporate videos of colleges, universities, schools, companies etc. I feel as I have achieved a professional look for my idea I used for the corporate video. Looking back at my first and last edit I have made a range of improvements provided by my clients to heighten the professionalism of the video. Before completing the last edit for my corporate video I looked at another set of corporate videos to finalise and improve the edit of the video, and example of this is City Of Westminster college provide a range of information using text throughout the video, looking at the type of text they have chosen and the clearness and boldness of the text, I also wanted to use the same idea for text as well as include boarders which would be the colours of the LaSWAP logo. Including the colours would create a link with the students/ staff and the logo together.

Looking at my final cut for my corporate video, I still have room on making changes and improvements to my video to create it as professional as it can be for example, including more information about the sixth form would be beneficial to the upcoming students of LaSWAP as they would be aware of what LaSWAP has to offer by providing detailed information and statistics. In addition to this, including various visuals of different departments, would also be beneficial as it can show the other subjects they have to offer.
